Food Industry Specialist

Herat Ice Cream Company is seeking a qualified and experienced Food Industry Specialist to support and improve its food manufacturing and production operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise in food processing, production management, quality assurance, food safety, and manufacturing process optimization, with particular focus on dairy products and ice cream production.

- Monitor and evaluate food manufacturing and production processes.

- Provide technical guidance on dairy processing and ice cream manufacturing.

- Develop and improve production methods and procedures.

- Monitor the quality and consistency of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products.

- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

- Implement and monitor HACCP and ISO 9001 requirements.

- Identify technical problems in production processes and recommend appropriate solutions.

- Optimize production efficiency and minimize material waste.

- Evaluate production equipment and recommend technical improvements.

- Support product development, formulation, and improvement.

- Monitor production parameters, including temperature, processing time, mixing, pasteurization, and storage conditions.

- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Coordinate with production, quality control, and maintenance departments.

- Conduct technical training for production employees.

- Prepare technical reports and provide recommendations to management.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing operations.

- Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology, Food Engineering, Food Processing, or a related field.

- Master's degree is an advantage.

- Relevant professional training and certifications in food safety and quality management are preferred.
