Solar & Energy Storage Engineer

Bashiri Co . Ltd is hiring solar & Energy Storage Engineer

·         Design complete solar PV systems, including structural layouts and electrical schematics.

·         Size and configure inverter and lithium-ion battery storage systems based on load profiles.

·         Perform site assessments, shading analyses, and energy production modeling using PVsyst or Helioscope.

·         Ensure all designs comply with local electrical codes, building regulations, and safety standards.

·         Provide technical support to installation teams and troubleshoot system performance issues.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Renewable Energy, or Mechanical Engineering.

·         Proven experience designing solar PV and battery storage systems (Grid-tied and Off-grid).

·         Proficiency in AutoCAD and solar design software (Helioscope, PVsyst, or similar).

Strong understanding of inverters (hybrid, string, microinverters) and battery management systems (BMS)

Requirements and skills

• System Sizing: Proven ability to accurately calculate load profiles and size solar arrays, hybrid/string inverters, and lithium-ion battery banks.

• Electrical Engineering: Deep understanding of AC/DC electrical theory, circuit protection, switchgear, and string configuration.

• Battery Management: Practical knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS), depth of discharge (DoD) limits, and thermal management.

• Site Assessment: Experience conducting physical site surveys, structural integrity evaluations, and shading analysis.

We are seeking a skilled Solar & Energy Storage Engineer to lead the technical design, engineering, and commissioning of our residential and commercial solar projects. You will be responsible for translating client needs into efficient, safe, and code-compliant energy systems.
