CCTV Operator

The CCTV Room Operator will work under the line management of Security Supervisor. Duties’ including monitoring the CCTV and reporting any suspicious activity to line Supervisor as well as the BG leadership immediately. 

• Monitor surveillance CCTV cameras in and around the compound.

• Installing CCTV Camera, troubleshooting and cabling of CCTV camera.

• Minimize financial losses caused by factors such as theft, accidents, injury and/or vandalism

• Monitor inside and outside parking vehicles and Staff movements via CCTV security cameras

• Perform first line trouble shooting and maintenance work of the equipment installed in Security Control Room.

• Train newly selected inductees in the operation and manning of Electronic Surveillance /Alarm Equipment

• Ensure safe custody and serviceability of the CCTV and allied electronic equipment installed in the Security Control

• Other duties will be assigned by line manager

• Having Diploma in Information Technology

• 2-3 years of related experience is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal

• Detailed planning, organizing, and prioritizing abilities

• Problem assessment and solution development

• Information gathering, performance monitoring, accurate reporting

• Working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and exceeding expectations
