Finance Manager- (Kabul/Herat)

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing budgets, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role involves strategic planning, financial analysis, and guiding the company’s leadership in making informed business decisions. The Finance Manager will supervise accounting operations, prepare financial reports, and implement effective financial controls to safeguard company assets.

• Oversee the overall corporate budgeting preparation, management, and monitoring processes.

• Perform financial analysis, reporting, and management activities.

• Ensure that the financial reports are prepared and delivered on time.

• Review financial data for accuracy, correctness, and completeness.

• Evaluate contracts’ financial terms and obligations.

• Monitor and manage all expenses within the allotted budget.

• Establish key financial strategies to enhance business profitability.

• Develop standard accounting procedures to improve financial operations efficiency.

• Participate in performance evaluation of finance staff and conduct counseling sessions to identify skill development needs.

• Assist in accounts payable and receivable activities.

• Generate financial reports related to budgets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, etc.

• Ensure accurate calculation and distribution of salaries and other benefits to employees.

• Establish accurate forecasts regarding expenses and revenues and manage regular reporting requirements.

• Monitor competitor activity and stay updated on the latest industry trends.

• BBA and Economics degree holder with specialization in Finance and Accounting.

• Required knowledge, skills, and experiences

• Have sufficient knowledge and experience in Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting.

• Proficiency in Excel software and MS office is a must.

• Have required analytical and arithmetic abilities for prognostication and calculations.

• Have the required skills to solve financial problems.

• Excellent supervisory, leadership, and teamwork skills with co-workers.

• Experience in planning, reporting, and budgeting.

• Awareness of related laws and regulations in different business areas.

• Have necessary organizational and communication skills.

• Excellent awareness of business and government ethics and challenges.

• Able to work effectively during work.
