The Group Financing Expert is responsible for promoting OXUS Afghanistan's group financing products by identifying and mobilizing eligible clients into financing groups. The position is responsible for marketing, group formation, business appraisal, financing disbursement, portfolio management, and ensuring timely recovery of instalments while maintaining strong relationships with group members and community leaders. The Group Financing Expert ensures compliance with OXUS Afghanistan policies, financing procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain a high-quality financing portfolio.

مسئول تمویل گروهی مسئول بازاریابی، جلب مشتریان جدید، ایجاد و تنظیم گروپهای تمویلی، ارزیابی فعالیتهای اقتصادی اعضای گروپ، توزیع تمویل، نظارت از استفاده درست تمویل و مدیریت پورتفولیوی تمویلی میباشد. همچنان مسئول حفظ کیفیت پورتفولیو، اطمینان از بازپرداخت به موقع اقساط، مدیریت روابط با اعضای گروپ و رعایت پالیسیها و طرزالعملهای اکسس افغانستان میباشد.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Marketing and Client Acquisition
Identify Potential Clients
a) Conduct market surveys to identify potential clients and suitable communities for group financing.
b) Promote OXUS Afghanistan's financing products through community meetings, awareness sessions, and field visits.
c) Build strong relationships with community leaders, local councils, and influential persons to facilitate client mobilization.
d) Identify eligible women and men entrepreneurs who qualify for group financing.
Group Formation
a) Mobilize clients and organize them into financing groups according to OXUS Afghanistan policies.
b) Verify group members' eligibility and ensure group solidarity principles are understood.
c) Conduct orientation sessions on group financing policies, rights, responsibilities, and repayment procedures.
d) Facilitate group leadership selection where applicable.
2. Business Appraisal and Financing
Business Appraisal
a) Conduct detailed business assessments of each group member.
b) Evaluate household income, business capacity, repayment ability, and financing needs.
c) Verify business locations, guarantors (if applicable), and business activities through field visits.
d) Analyse financing risks and recommend appropriate financing amounts.
Application Processing
a) Assist clients in completing financing application forms accurately.
b) Ensure all required documents are collected and verified.
c) Prepare financing proposals for review and approval.
d) Ensure financing files are complete before submission to the financing committee.
Financing Disbursement
a) Coordinate financing disbursement according to approved procedures.
b) Explain financing agreements and repayment schedules to all group members.
c) Ensure financing is utilized for the approved business purpose.
3. Portfolio Management
Client Relationship Management
a) Maintain regular contact with group members through scheduled meetings and business visits.
b) Monitor clients' businesses and provide guidance where necessary.
c) Build long-term relationships with clients to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
d) Encourage repeat financing for eligible clients with good repayment records.
Monitoring and Follow-up
a) Conduct regular monitoring visits to financed businesses.
b) Monitor utilization of financing funds.
c) Identify early warning signs of repayment difficulties.
d) Take preventive actions to reduce portfolio risk.
4. Collection and Recovery
Repayment Monitoring
a) Ensure timely collection of installments from all group members.
b) Maintain accurate repayment records.
c) Follow up with clients before installment due dates.
d) Prepare daily collection reports.
Delinquency Management
a) Immediately follow up overdue accounts.
b) Coordinate with group members to encourage timely repayments.
c) Work closely with the Recovery Team and Branch Manager on delinquent accounts.
d) Participate in recovery activities and legal follow-up when required.
5. Compliance and Risk Management
a) Ensure all financing activities comply with OXUS Afghanistan policies and procedures.
b) Maintain complete and accurate client files.
c) Ensure compliance with Islamic financing principles where applicable.
d) Report suspicious or fraudulent activities immediately.
e) Maintain confidentiality of client information.
6. Coordination and Reporting
Internal Coordination
a) Work closely with the Branch Manager, Financing Administrator, Recovery Team, and other branch staff.
b) Participate in branch meetings and financing committee discussions.
c) Coordinate client activities to improve portfolio quality.
Reporting
a) Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on marketing activities, group formation, portfolio performance, collections, and delinquency.
b) Submit reports accurately and on time.
c) Maintain updated client and portfolio records.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achievement of monthly client acquisition targets.
Number of new financing groups formed.
Portfolio growth.
Portfolio at Risk (PAR) maintained within acceptable limits.
Timely repayment and collection performance.
Client retention rate.
Quality and completeness of financing documentation.
Compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Customer satisfaction.
Education:
High School graduated
preference for Bachelor Degree
Work Experience:
Prior experience in Microfinance sector and Banks as Financing Expert.
Skills:
Basic spoken and written English, strong spoken and written in local languages ( Dari and Pushtu), familiarity with computer and strong negotiating and good communication skills
