Medicore Recruitment Ltd is looking for a motivated and organised UK Healthcare Recruitment Consultant to join our team. The role involves sourcing, screening, and recruiting healthcare professionals, including Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers, and Nurses, and matching them with available shifts across the UK.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a strong pool of healthcare workers and ensuring available shifts are filled efficiently. Excellent English language and communication skills are essential for this position, as the role requires regular communication with candidates and clients.
Duties & responsibilities
Source and recruit healthcare candidates through Indeed, CV-Library, and other recruitment platforms.
Review CVs and identify suitable candidates for available vacancies.
Contact candidates by phone, email, and WhatsApp.
Conduct initial candidate screening and interviews.
Explain job opportunities, shift details, locations, and requirements to candidates.
Check candidate availability and match suitable candidates to available shifts.
Book candidates onto shifts and confirm their attendance.
Follow up with candidates before shifts to ensure they are available and prepared.
Maintain regular communication with candidates and keep them engaged.
Maintain accurate candidate records and update recruitment systems.
Work closely with the operations team to fulfil staffing requirements.
Ensure candidates have completed the required recruitment and compliance checks before being booked.
Respond quickly to urgent staffing requirements and help achieve recruitment targets.
Job requirements
Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
Strong communication and telephone skills.
Previous experience in recruitment, healthcare recruitment, staffing, customer service, or a similar role is desirable.
Experience using recruitment platforms such as Indeed and CV-Library is an advantage.
Good computer skills and confidence using online platforms and recruitment systems.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with candidates and clients.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple vacancies and candidates.
A proactive and target-oriented approach to recruitment.
Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to staffing requirements.
Professional, reliable, and positive attitude.
