Modern Boost Technology (MBT Group) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead the commercial growth of MBT Group (mbt.af) and MBTElm (mbtelm.com).
This is a newly created position with significant responsibility for developing sales strategies, building strategic partnerships, expanding the customer base, strengthening the company's market presence, and establishing an effective sales and marketing function.
The successful candidate should have strong experience in telecom, technology, digital services, education technology, enterprise sales, or related industries, with a proven record of achieving business growth.
Duties & responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement annual and monthly sales strategies for MBT Group and MBTElm.
Identify new B2B, B2C, enterprise, NGO, institutional, and telecom opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with telecom operators, enterprises, NGOs, educational institutions, distributors, and strategic partners.
Develop new sales channels, partnerships, agents, and distribution networks.
Lead negotiations and prepare commercial proposals for key customers and partners.
Establish and monitor sales targets, KPIs, pipelines, and revenue forecasts.
Develop new markets and identify opportunities for expansion.
Marketing
Develop and execute marketing strategies for MBT Group and MBTElm.
Plan digital marketing campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, and other relevant channels.
Develop campaigns for MBTElm courses, instructors, subscriptions, and educational services.
Coordinate promotional campaigns, events, partnerships, and brand activities.
Monitor marketing performance, customer acquisition, conversion, and ROI.
Work closely with the technical and content teams to support product launches and campaigns.
Team Leadership
Build, manage, and motivate the sales and marketing team.
Set individual and team targets and monitor performance.
Develop sales processes, reporting systems, and follow-up procedures.
Provide coaching and guidance to sales staff.
Conduct regular sales performance reviews.
Reporting & Management
Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports for senior management.
Analyze market trends, competitors, customer feedback, and sales performance.
Recommend new products, services, pricing strategies, and market opportunities.
Maintain accurate CRM and sales pipeline information.
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, including significant experience in sales/business development or marketing.
At least 2 years of experience in a management or team-leadership position.
Proven experience in B2B sales, enterprise sales, business development, and partnership development.
Experience in telecom, technology, digital services, EdTech, VAS, software, ISP, or a related industry is highly preferred.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media advertising.
Experience with CRM systems, sales reporting, and digital marketing tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to develop and execute strategies independently.
Excellent knowledge of Dari and Pashto; good English communication skills required.
Willingness to travel within Afghanistan when required.
