  • Monitor quality of installation, material compliance, test reports, and punch list closure.

  • Ensure proper documentation: inspection requests, NCR handling, corrective actions, as-built records.

4) Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and maintain construction look-ahead plans (2-week / 4-week / rolling schedule).

  • Track progress vs baseline schedule and implement recovery plans where needed.

  • Coordinate shutdown/outage works and energization milestones with the utility/client.

5) Contractor & Subcontractor Management

  • Manage EPC contractor teams and subcontractors (civil, erection, cabling, relay testing, etc.).

  • Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and construction procedures.

  • Monitor productivity, resource levels, and compliance with contract scope.

6) Interface Management & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as main interface between site execution, engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, client/utility, and commissioning teams.

  • Coordinate with OEMs/suppliers for installation support and factory/site technical guidance.

  • Resolve site technical issues and support RFI/TQ management with engineering.

7) Testing & Commissioning Support

  • Coordinate completion checks, pre-commissioning, functional testing, and commissioning readiness.

  • Support relay testing, SCADA integration, interlocking checks, primary injection, secondary injection, SF6 checks (GIS), transformer testing, etc.

  • Lead construction punch list closure and support energization procedures and safety clearances.

8) Cost, Reporting & Documentation

  • Track and report on construction progress, risks, constraints, and resource status.

  • Control site-related costs and manage change/variation requests where applicable.

  • Ensure complete project handover documentation including as-builts and O&M deliverables.
