Ticket Booking Agent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a professional Ticket Booking Agent to join our team, in this position, your ultimate goal will be to keep our clients satisfied and loyal for future services.

Ticket Booking Agent is responsible for selling and processing flight tickets and other travel agency product/services to passengers from various airlines and package delivery all around the world.

Ticket Booking Agent not only handle the retail portion of selling a ticket but also deal with planning schedules for customers and helping them reach their destination via the best route and at the lowest cost.

Ticket Booking Agent must be familiar with schedules & destinations and be able to answer questions about travel times, connections, layovers and visa requirements.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with in-depth knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.

To succeed in this role, you should also possess outstanding negotiation and sales skills.

Responsibilities:

• Organizing travels from beginning to end, including tickets, accommodation.
• Suggest suitable travel options that best suite clients' needs
• Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds
• Researching Travel Options.
• Reporting daily and weekly sales reports to the head of department.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients. 
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails assisting customers with travel bookings, visa requirements, and itinerary planning.
• Provide accurate information on travel schedules, routes, layovers, costs, and visa requirements.
• Arrange flight reservations, hotel accommodations, and other travel services.
• Offer and promote current discounts, deals, and promotions to the customers.
• Coordinate with travel agents, embassies, and service providers to ensure smooth booking and visa processing.
• Assist passengers with missed connections or changes to travel plans, rebooking as necessary.
• Process ticket sales, issue confirmations, and manage payment collection.
• Ensure accurate and timely communication of travel updates and changes to clients.
• Monitor service quality and review supplier performance.
• Address customer complaints and provide solutions to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments and invoices.

• Work experience as a Ticket Booking Agent (3 – 5 Years)
• Excellent knowledge of flight ticket booking with online system portals.
• Have a wide range of customer information details for travel agency.
• The ability and desire to sell.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• A confident and determined approach.
• Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection. 
• Proficiency in English as an international languages & Proficiency in Dari or Pashto as a local language
• Bachelor’s degree or any university diploma.
