The Regional Communication Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing regional communication initiatives that support the company's brand, commercial objectives, corporate reputation, and stakeholder engagement. The role ensures consistent brand messaging across the assigned region while managing local media relations, community engagement activities, sponsorships, internal communications, and regional events.
Regional Communication Management
Implement communication strategies and campaigns at the regional level.
Ensure alignment of regional communication activities with corporate communication objectives.
Maintain consistency of brand identity and messaging across all regional channels.
Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and corporate initiatives.
Media Relations
Establish and maintain strong relationships with regional media outlets.
Coordinate press conferences, media interviews, and public relations activities.
Prepare and distribute press releases and media statements.
Monitor regional media coverage and provide analysis reports.
Internal Communications
Support effective communication between the regional office and headquarters.
Develop and distribute employee communications, announcements, and newsletters.
Promote employee engagement and awareness of company initiatives.
Facilitate communication during organizational changes and key business updates.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain positive relationships with government authorities, local communities, business partners, and key stakeholders.
Coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community outreach programs within the region.
Represent the company at regional events, exhibitions, and industry forums.
Event Management
Plan and execute regional events, sponsorship activities, and brand activations.
Coordinate communication materials for events, including presentations, speeches, invitations, and branding.
Manage event logistics in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
Digital Communications
Support regional digital marketing and social media activities.
Ensure local content is relevant, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Monitor regional social media engagement and provide recommendations for improvement.
Crisis Communication
Support crisis communication efforts within the region.
Monitor potential issues that may impact the company's reputation.
Coordinate timely communication responses with headquarters and management.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
Prepare regular reports on communication activities, media coverage, events, and stakeholder engagement.
Track communication KPIs and provide recommendations to improve effectiveness.
Maintain records of regional communication initiatives and expenditures.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in communications, public relations, media relations, or marketing.
Experience in telecommunications, FMCG, or corporate environments is preferred.
Required Skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Dari, and Pashto.
· Excellent media relation and networking skills.
· Event planning and project management expertise.
· Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
· Knowledge of digital communications and social media management.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
