Finance Manager

Aurum Microfinance Institution (Aurum MFI) is seeking motivated and qualified candidates for the position of Finance Manager.  Aurum Afghanistan Microfinance Institution is a licensed microfinance institution providing accessible and Sharia-compliant financing solutions to individuals and businesses across Afghanistan.

• Manage daily accounting and financial operations.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.

• Manage budgeting, cash flow and treasury operations.

• Ensure accurate accounting records and financial reconciliations.

• Prepare and submit regulatory financial reports to Da Afghanistan Bank.

• Maintain effective internal financial controls.

• Coordinate internal and external audits.

• Monitor financial performance and prepare management reports.

• Supervise the Finance Department and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

• ACCA qualification or part-qualified ACCA is strongly preferred.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Previous experience in banking, microfinance or financial institutions is strongly preferred.

• Practical working knowledge of QuickBooks is mandatory.

• Good knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with DAB regulatory requirements is an advantage.

• Understanding of Islamic Finance and Murabaha is an advantage.

• Familiarity with AAOIFI and IFRS standards is preferred.
