Financing Officer

Shahy Khazana Microfinance is interested in hiring a Finance Officer.

• Explain to customers the various financing options available, including the terms and conditions of each service.

• Identify and train potential clients on financing methodologies.

• Develop a strategic work plan for attracting clients within the assigned geographical area.

• Advertise and promote financing products to prospective clients.

• Conduct field visits to assess applicants' financial status, creditworthiness, and property evaluations to determine the feasibility of granting financing.

• Achieve monthly financing targets set by the operations department.

• Foster growth in the outstanding portfolio while maintaining a healthy and sustainable portfolio.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, focusing on their needs and satisfaction.

• Manage the recovery of financing from clients through timely follow-ups, ensuring that repayments are deposited with the branch cashier.

• Provide clients with information on the Murabaha policy and procedures.

• Monitor existing clients and report any deficiencies to branch management, ensuring compliance with Sharia (Murabaha process).

• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the line supervisor.

• Minimum of a high school diploma; a university degree in finance or retail banking is preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience in microfinance, banking or loan operations is preferred.

• Field experience is an advantage.

• Experience in private business, credit, and trade is desirable.

• Strong initiative, integrity, and self-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Experience working in field settings, bazaars, or markets is a plus.

• Knowledge in social sciences or experience in social work is beneficial.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Fluency in Dari and Pashto is required; knowledge of English is an advantage.

• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office.
