Operations Officer - Courier Services

We're looking for an Operations Officer to manage our international courier operations, handling documentation, tracking, and coordination with global courier networks.

• Create and process Air Waybills (AWB).

• Prepare shipment manifests and generate tracking numbers

• Calculate shipment costs including volumetric/dimensional weight

• Coordinate pickups, transit, and deliveries

• Track shipments and update clients on status Handle customs clearance documentation for courier shipments

• Liaise with international courier partners and agents

• Resolve delivery issues and handle customer inquiries

• Maintain accurate records of all shipments

• High School or bachelor degree.

• Minimum 2 years experience in courier/express delivery operations Strong knowledge of courier terminology and documentation (AWB, manifests, POD).

• Experience with volumetric weight calculations and pricing.

• Familiar with global courier operations (UPS, DHL, FedEx, Aramex).

• Understanding of their terms, conditions, and operational standards.

• Knowledge of customs clearance procedures for courier shipments.

• Good communication skills in Dari/Pashto and English.

• Computer literate (MS O!ce, courier tracking systems).

• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
