Senior Full Stack Developer (Re - Announced)

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with deep expertise in PHP/Laravel, Node.js, and Python to design, develop, and maintain large-scale telecom applications and subscriber-facing platforms. This role involves building high-performance backend systems, customer portals, internal operational tools, and integrating with a wide range of telecom network elements. The ideal candidate has experience working in a Mobile Network Operator (MNO) or large ISP environment, where reliability, security, scalability, and low latency are critical. 

• Design and develop systems such as SIM activation platforms, recharge/payment systems, VAS platforms, subscriber management tools, and operational dashboards.

• Build APIs and services that integrate with core telecom systems such as HLR/HSS, OCS/IN, SMSC, PCRF, and provisioning systems. 

• Build scalable backend applications using Laravel, Node.js, and Python.

• Develop high-performance REST/GraphQL APIs and background workers.

• Implement queue-based processing using RabbitMQ/Kafka/SQS.

• Design database schemas optimized for telecom workloads.

• Build dashboards, admin portals, and subscriber interfaces using React, Vue.js, or Next.js.

• Implement real-time data interfaces using WebSockets/SSE. 

• Integrate with telecom systems using REST, SOAP, SMPP, Diameter, and secured API gateways.

• Work with both legacy and modern architecture.

• Contribute to microservices design and high-availability distributed architectures.

• Implement caching, sharding, throttling, and performance techniques.

• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

• Implement structured logging, tracing (OpenTelemetry), and metrics (Prometheus). 

• Enforce secure coding practices (OWASP/CIS).

• Ensure regulator-compliant audit trails and access control policies.

• Mentor team members and perform code reviews.

• Work closely with core network, BSS/OSS, NOC/SOC, and cybersecurity teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecom Engineering, or equivalent experience. (Master's degree will be preferred)

• Must have 3 to 4 years relevant work experience (2 years’ experience for a master's degree).

• Fluent in one of the local languages (Dari, Pashto) and English (written and spoken).

• Strong expertise in PHP/Laravel, Node.js, and Python frameworks.

• Frontend experience with React/Vue.js/Next.js.

• Strong SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and Redis experience.

• Experience building high-throughput, telecom-grade applications.

• Knowledge of microservices, Docker, CI/CD, and secure API design. 

• Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ, SMPP, or CDR/billing systems.

• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Familiarity with TM Forum Open APIs. 

• Strong work ethic, dependability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve goals and deliver high-quality results.
